At Medina Heating & Air Conditioning everyone I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and very patient explaining everything to me. They worked efficiently and made sure I knew what they were doing every step of the process. There was no pressure in deciding what work to be done, for which I was and am extremely grateful. To my surprise the whole job took less than 2 days and when they left everything had been cleared and cleaned, leaving me to just sit back and relax. Starting using Medina Heating and Cooling these last two seasons because I was frustrated with my prior HVAC provider’s shoddy work. Medina H&C has been great. Attention to detail and strong communication. They demonstrated knowledge of the system I have which is a top-of-the-line Trane with communication capabilities. Miranda did the cooling maintenance and made the extra effort to validate performance in multiple rooms, disassembled the outdoor unit and thoroughly cleaned the unit—even treating the shell with a wax. She also took time to show me the A-coil to ensure it was clean and didn’t need service, despite the fact the coil is in a sealed shell that takes a lot of work to access. Appreciate this company and its employees.

Words alone cannot express my gratitude towards Medina HVAC technicians Grant and Mike. After discovering a faulty gas control valve on Christmas morning, both Grant and Mike arrived the following day and, after inspecting the job at hand, Grant explained my options as, fortunately, the gas valve was covered under warranty. After Grant explained my options, I decided to have him and Mike perform the service. The two gentlemen were very professional in their conduct. They each demonstrated superb attention to detail. Along with repairing the defective part, they did an inspection on the system. Both Grant and Mike took time to thoroughly explain the entire system to me and what to look for in the event of improper operation in the future. I highly recommend Medina HVAC. They installed my Trane furnace and air conditioner in Spring 2020. I had no idea what I was doing selecting the units as a single female new homeowner. They helped guide me to pick a furnace and AC I am still very happy with today. The units are still operating very well and have not had a single issue after 5.5 years. I thought the total cost of installation was reasonable and fair. The day of installation was a seamless and hassle-free process. I have maintained my warranty program with them ever since. For ~$200 a year, the warranty program includes 2x a year maintenance on your air conditioner (Spring) and furnace (Fall). A tech comes out and keeps everything greased, cleans leaves out of my furnace intake, cleans debris out of the AC unit, and generally keeps the system operating well. They also remind me or offer to change my filter. I do have to pay for my filters. The warranty covers labor costs if anything goes wrong with the system. My unit parts are under a 10-year warranty or longer depending on the part. For the last 5.5 years, every maintenance person who has ever come to my home has been beyond professional. I trust their employees in my home. Recently, I had to have a structural repair to my home. Some of my HVAC ducting had to come down and get rebuilt. My home was built in the 1950s and the ducts are larger than standard size. I called Medina HVAC to replace the ducting. They were easy and fast to schedule with and gave me what I believe is a very fair and almost inexpensive price. They said they wanted to take care of me since I had been a loyal customer to them. Medina HVAC's level of customer service and professionalism is truly hard to come by these days. I heartily recommend their services!

First floor furnace wouldn't run on a Monday morning. From the inside temp, it probably hadn't run all night. We called Medina and they sent someone out that same morning. He got the furnace running but cautioned that the blower motor was getting very hot. The unit was 23 years old so we decided to go ahead and have it replaced. A different team of two came two days later and quickly replaced the furnace. Running fine and seems to be way more quiet.

Woke up to a hot water tank break… freaked out… who to call??? Called Medina Heating and Cooling (remembered our service man telling us they also did plumbing). Called at eight sharp, return call by 8:30… tech was here by nine… assessed the situation… (can fix today!!!) Tank was shot… called in to assistant about what was needed… he brought everything with him… except shut-off valve… needed because new tank was higher and needed all the previous plumbing reworked… went and got a new shut-off valve. Both guys were excellent, felt like we had family working on it for us (never mind they both looked to be twenty… yes, my husband and I are 55 and 61, respectively). Got everything redone by 1:15 and within an hour have hot water again… price was fair… quality of service was beyond excellent… don’t overlook them for help… excellent experience!!!! And great to know that not only is our furnace and air in good hands, so is our water tank… thankful, thanks!!!!!!
